What you might have missed

  • The 2018 World Sailing Youth World Championships took place last week in Corpus Christi, Texas! Canadian sailors represented Canada at this international event in the 420, 29er and Laser Radial Fleets. Check out the final results of the event!

  • The 2018 Bell Sail Central Championship occurred last weekend at HYC! Check out the results from the event here
  • The AGM & Leader Summit dates are here! Please join us for the 2018 Sail Canada Annual General Meeting and Leadership Meetings! The event will be held in conjunction with Leadership meetings in Vancouver BC, October 17th – 20th.

  • Call for photos!
    Get your photo on the cover of Sail Canada’s next edition of Basic Sailing Skills! We will promote the photographer or the school in the book and initial promotions. Here is what we need:

    • high-resolution image
    • Youth or Adult(s) Basic Dinghy Sailing in good form – single or double handed class dinghy boats, fair weather
    • No trapeze, no spinnaker
    • Permission to share images is required from any persons in submitted images
    • Submit photos to by July 25th 2018

  • Don’t miss out on another amazing Sail Canada Championship! Join us at the Lunenburg Yacht Club in Nova Scotia for Sail East at Sail Fest. Check out the NOR and register if you haven’t yet!
  • Watch as CST & CSDS athletes head to Aarhus, Denmark for the Hempel Sailing World Championships Aarhus 2018. The 14-day event will take place from July 30th to August 12th, gathering sailors from across the world competing to qualify their country for the 2020 Olympics.
  • Register for Sail Canada Championships happening across Canada this summer
